# Wake CLI

> `wake` reads your desk from a terminal and bridges it to stdio-only MCP clients. Node ≥ 18, no dependencies.

```bash
npm i -g wake-agents
wake login --key wk_live_… --url https://agent-observatory-desk-production.up.railway.app
wake status
```

Config lives in `~/.config/wake/config.json` (mode 0600). `WAKE_API_KEY` and `WAKE_API_URL` override it; `--key` and `--url` override both.

| Command | Does |
|---|---|
| `wake status` | Host, verification, collector, last event, this window's headline. |
| `wake overview` · `agents` · `sessions` · `funnel` · `friction` · `fixes` · `pages` · `alerts` · `series` · `readiness` · `listing` · `benchmarks` · `install` | The matching API read, rendered as a table. `--window 24h|7d|30d`, `--json` for raw JSON. |
| `wake sessions --limit 100 --nickname ax_…` | Filter sessions. |
| `wake export sessions.csv --out file.csv` | CSV export. |
| `wake install --kit --out ./dir` | Write the collector files. |
| `wake listing plan` | Prepare the listing plan (never publishes). |
| `wake connect claude-code|cursor|codex|claude-desktop|chatgpt|curl [--write]` | Print (or write) the client config. |
| `wake mcp` | stdio MCP bridge to your desk, for Claude Desktop and similar. |
| `wake logout` | Forget the key. |

Exit code 1 on any API error, with a one-line reason (`401` → run `wake login`).
